Things to Do

Discover the Wonders of the Philippines, a country celebrated for its stunning beaches and the warm hospitality of its people.

OUR PRE-WEDDING PLAN:

We're excited to share that we'll be heading to Boracay Island a week prior to our wedding. We will be arriving there on December 7th for some relaxation and to explore the wonders of the island. There is so much to do and explore! You're warmly invited to join us if you could during this time!

STAY AT THE MANDARIN BAY RESORT AND SPA:

- We will be staying at the Mandarin Bay Resort and Spa. It offers the best value for money. We already booked our stay there from December 7-12th. On the 12th we will be checking out and heading over to check into the Shangri La hotel for our wedding event which is just a 20 minute tuk tuk ride away. (Tuk Tuk is there version of a taxi)

- Mandarin Bay Resort and Spa is located in the heart of Station 2, this brand-new resort offers the longest pool in Boracay, beachfront access, and excellent value for money.

- Room rates range from $100 to $150 per night.

- For the best deals, visit the Agoda website: Click here.

There are two Mandarin Resorts in Boracay, please make sure you book the "Mandarin Bay Resorts and Spa".

ALTERNATIVE ACCOMMIDATION:

- Coast Hotel, which is directly next to the Mandarin Bay Resort and Spa, is a great alternative.

- The Tides is also an amazing alternative with rooms starting only at less than $50. This property is just a few minutes walk from Mandarin bay and it is at the heart of the fun. Click here to view.

- You might also explore other hotels in Station 1 or 2, the hubs of Boracay's vibrant scene.

WEDDING VENUE SHIFT:

- From December 7 to 12, we'll be at Mandarin Bay Resort and Spa.

- On December 12, we'll move to the Shangri-La, a secluded beach resort approximately 20 minutes away from Mandarin Bay Resort and Spa.

- For wedding day accommodations, please refer to the "Travel" tab on our wedding website.

Looking forward to celebrating with you in this slice of paradise!

Warm regards,

Evan and Bianca

HOW TO GET TO BORACAY

Your destination airport is CATICLAN BORACAY AIRPORT (MPH) - Your Gateway to Boracay Island. We highly recommend you using skyscanner.com to search for best flights. Or you can go directly to Philippine Airlines website but price might be just a little more expensive there. You will most likely have a layover in Manilla where you will baord another plan to get to Caticlan Boracay (MPH) airport.

For a seamless experience, we highly recommend arranging a hotel transfer from the airport. Most hotels offer this service, often complimentary.

In case you need to navigate independently, here's a brief guide:

1. **Transfer from CATICLAN AIRPORT to Jetty Port:**

- Upon arrival at CATICLAN AIRPORT, look for a van service to take you to the Jetty Port. This is a standard route, and you'll find that locals are quite accommodating and willing to assist.

2. **Boat Ride from Jetty Port to BORACAY ISLAND:**

- From the Jetty Port, you'll catch a small boat to BORACAY ISLAND. This is a short journey, typically taking around 10 minutes.

Remember, both the van ride and boat trip are relatively brief, each lasting approximately 10 minutes.

The local community is known for its helpfulness, so please don't hesitate to ask for assistance if needed. English is a second and commonly spoken language in this country. Your adventure to BORACAY ISLAND is just a few steps away, and we're excited for you to experience its beauty.

Safe travels!
